FRED THORPE

Dead at the age of 68 is Fred W. Thorpe of 231 Bancroft Way, Pacifica. He died suddenly in Daly City, Oct. 9.

Survivors include his wife, Hettie; his sister, Sophie Piper of SF, and two nephews. A retired American Can Co. engineer, Mr. Thorpe was a member of Machinists’ Union #68.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon from Nauman-Lincoln’s Chapel by the Sea in Pacifica. Interment was at Olivet Memorial Park.
