RUDY JAMES MEARES

Funeral services were held December 15 for Rudy James Meares, who died December 14 in Burlingame. He was 59.

A native of San Francisco, he had lived in San Mateo County for 24 years, last residing at 860 Reid Avenue, San Bruno.

He had been a jitney driver with Bethlehem Steel for 22 years, and was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 860.

He is survived by his wife, Martha L. Meares, and a daughter, Mrs. Maureen Trivette, both of San Bruno. A sister, Mrs. Florence Sylva, lives in Palo Alto. She was the sister (sic) of the late Evelyn Kelly and Louis Meares. Two grandchildren also survive.

Inurnment was at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements were by the San Bruno Funeral Home.
