GEORGE JOHN LAGOMARSINO

A Requiem Mass was said Thursday in San Mateo for George John Lagomarsino, 80, who died July 25, following a lengthy illness.

A native of San Francisco, he was a former chairman of the San Mateo County Fair committee, and long active in county and civic affairs. He was a life member of the San Mateo Lodge, 112, BPOE, and a charter member of the Guadalupe Parlor of the Native Sons of the Golden West.

He is survived by his wife, Emilia, and daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Pellegrini, Mrs. Millie Allen, Mrs. Doris Buchanan, all of San Carlos, and Mrs. Jeannette Morgan, Saratoga. He was the father of the late Georgbe Joseph Lagomarsino. A sister, Miss Josephine Lagomarsino, lives in Daly City, and another sister, Mrs. Estelle Raffetto, San Francisco. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Entombment was at Holy Cross Mausoleum.
