HILDA VICTORIA ELDER

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in San Bruno for Hilda Victoria Elder, who died December 15 in Burlingame. She was 75.

A native of San Francisco, she last resided at 66 Spruce Street in Millbrae.

She had been a member of the OES of Burlingame for 50 years, and was also a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and the San Mateo No-Hostess Club. She was a retired clerk-typist for the Internal Revenue Service in San Francisco, where she had worked for 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Major (ret.) Miles M. Elder, U.S. Army, with whom she had recently celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Also surviving are her sons, William Elder of San Bruno, and Vernon Elder, Atherton. A daughter, Jane Elder, resides in Millbrae, and a brother, Ivan Peterson, Burlingame. 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren are listed, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at Olivet Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are by the El Camino Funeral Chapel.
