JOHN JOSEPH BRODERICK

The rosary will be recited tonight at 8 o’clock at the Crosby N. Gray Mortuary, 2 Park Road, Burlingame for John Joseph Broderick, 51, Burlingame Postmaster, who died at Peninsula Hospital early Friday morning.

A native of Redwood City, he was a past commander of Matalan Post, VFW; and past president of the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce, and a director of the American Red Cross.

Survivors are his wife, Helynn Piersol Broderick; and children Theresa Thomas, John Jr., and Mary Frances Broderick and Vard Stockton and Mrs. Vicki Anne Erlan; his mother, Mrs. Julia M. Broderick; and two brothers, Andrew I. and Robert J. One grandchild also survives.

Services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m., thence to a requiem mass at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
