Sudden Heart Attack Kills Larry Yule

Laurence E. Yule of Daly City, a member of the San Mateo County School Board died suddenly last week of a heart attack at the age of 55.

He suffered the fatal attack at his home at 251 Alexander Street and died in an ambulance on the way to a San Francisco hospital.

The lawyer had served on the county school board since 1964 when he was appointed to succeed Mrs. Stella Jensen who had retired and moved to Burlingame.

He was subsequently elected to the board. He was also a member of the F&AM Lodge of Pecos, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Velma, a librarian for the city of Daly City, and two daughters, Vivlenne, 20, and Valerie, 18. He was the son of Mrs. A.H. Yule of Santa Barbara and a native of Monarch, Montana.

Funeral services were held at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. Interment was at Golden Gate National Cemetery. Contributions in his behalf may be sent to the Heart Fund.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday from Duggan’s Serra Mortuary for Laurence E. Yule, who died June 2 in S.F.

The husband of Velma Yule of Daly City, he was the father of Mrs. Dennis Campagna of San Jose and Valerie Yule of this city.

A native of Monarch, Montana, he was a member of the San Mateo County School Board, the F&AM in Pecos, Texas, and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Montana.

Interment at Golden Gate National Cemetery followed the 1 p.m. rites.
