Greetings from Australia. As a matter of interest I am writing a book about the history of basketball in Australia. Came across an article in a Western Australia newspaper in August 1909, reporting on a visit to Australia by the "Columbia Park Boys" from America. Among other entertainment, they played an exhibitiopn game of basketball, "At the conclusion of this exhibition the boys were loudly cheered".
